Choose work where AI can genuinely help
Start with recurring tasks that have clear inputs and verifiable results, such as drafting an email from approved points or turning notes into action items. Work affecting rights, money, safety, or individuals must remain under a responsible person’s judgment.
Write clear prompts
Specify the goal, context, audience, constraints, response format, and quality criteria. For example, ask for a follow-up email based only on supplied facts, separate the subject from the body, and flag missing information.
Draft messages responsibly
Define the audience, purpose, facts, and tone before asking AI to draft an email or announcement. Check names, dates, amounts, conditions, and promises; the system may add fluent but unsupported details.
Summarize without changing the meaning
Decide whether you need conclusions, open tasks, owners, or unanswered questions. Separate facts from recommendations and identify sources. Check conditions, exceptions, and dissent against the original; report gaps instead of filling them in.
Build a repeatable workflow
Define the starting point, permitted data, AI-assisted steps, human checkpoints, and a handoff for missing information.
Applied case study and evidence review
Draft a follow-up email with missing delivery information
